Our
Story...
The Beginning.
THAT Foodbank was set up in 2011, initially to address the needs of rough sleepers but, at the request of Social Services and the local council, it soon developed into a much needed food bank.

We moved to our current premises on Buckland in 2014.

We receive no Government support and rely entirely on fundraising, grants and donations.

We provide high quality food packs put together from donated and bought food items.

We include a large variety of foods - tinned, frozen and fresh items (when available). We also have cleaning and toiletry packs. Each pack is designed to last 10 days & varies according to the client's needs and what we have in stock.
Pet food, baby food and nappies (when in stock) are also available.

We can also provide packs that contain items that can be prepared without the use of a cooker or kitchen equipment.
We can also provide Home Start packs for clients unable to afford essential items who may be moving into a new home, supported lodgings, sheltered accommodation or a B&B.
