At THAT Foodbank's Teign Community Store we believe in the power of community. We're looking for volunteers to join us on our new venture on Thursday afternoons from 2.00pm - 4.15pm.

​

The role includes:

• Assist in taking delivery of stock from FareShare (on Wednesday afternoon around 1.45pm).

• Moving stock from our main food bank buildings as appropriate).

• Sorting and checking dates on donated food items.

• Setting out food on appropriate tables (with guidance from the Community Store Manager).

• Welcome clients warmly and maintain confidentiality.

• Provide advice and guidance to clients on how to use the Community Store.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of premises.

• Potentially take and record information from clients.

• Potentially take cash and card payments from clients (full training will be given).
